The rules of the read.
Use the product for reflection and entertainment. Do not use it to harass, expose, diagnose or make high-stakes decisions about another person.
Who may use it
You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms. By uploading material, you confirm that you have the right or permission to share it for analysis.
Prohibited uploads
Do not submit intimate or sexual imagery, content involving minors, unlawfully obtained material, threats, instructions for wrongdoing, or information intended to identify or target someone.
What the report is, and is not
Reports are AI-generated opinions based only on the evidence supplied. They can be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not psychological, legal, medical, safety or relationship advice and do not establish why someone acted in a particular way.
Respect other people
Share reports responsibly. Do not publish private messages, names, faces or identifying details without the affected person’s permission. You are responsible for the material you upload and how you use the output.
Beta availability
The service may change, fail or be withdrawn during beta. Daily and per-visitor limits apply to free reports. Paid reports are not subject to the free-report limit, although we may restrict access when necessary to protect users or keep the service reliable.
Purchases and refunds
A purchase funds one full digital report and is sold and processed by Polar as merchant of record. After adding your screenshots and context, you can buy the full backstory before analysis or upgrade a free report after reading it. An unused purchase can be redeemed from the same browser within 30 days. If an upload is unreadable or blocked by our safety checks, the unused purchase remains available so you can try again. If a payment is duplicated, the paid report does not unlock, or the service is materially defective, email hello@whytheyghosted.app within 14 days so we can investigate with Polar and, where appropriate, issue a refund. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees and we are not responsible for decisions, disputes or losses arising from reliance on an AI-generated report.
